Big Eyed Blues Festival

Meet me at 966 Fulton for the Big Eyed Blues Festival on October 16th. Ms. Reddy will not let you down, she really can sing. The crowd loved her out at Jazzy Jazz Festival this summer, she has them jumping and clapping. Rudi Mwongozi will be on the piano doing his thang. Rudi is from Oakland, California and he is some kind of musician.

On November 28th CBJC will have their 10th Anniversary concert. Call 718 773 2252 for more information.

A fundraiser I am attending

Hey everybody. Come out on October 29th to the Jazz Musicians for Al Vann at Sugarhill. We need a person who has established relationships in the government. There is a lot of money coming to New York in the form of the stimulus package. Al Vann has been doing a good job of getting money for Brooklyn, Bed-Stuy in particular. It takes time to get established. Think about it. Meanwhile, come out on the 29th and hear some jammin jams. All are welcome.
